Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Irene is a first-generation American of Salvadoran and Mexican descent. From a young age, she was passionate about performance and art, starting dance classes at eight and acting in local plays and musicals by ten. This early dedication laid the foundation for her successful modeling career.
Irene has shot for top brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Lululemon, Nike, Nordstrom, ALO YOGA, Urban Outfitters, and H&M. Recently, she was featured in Homme Girls and the New York Times Magazine. Her boyish, effortless style, reminiscent of the 90s and marked by a signature look of a white Hanes muscle tank and low-rise baggy jeans, sets her apart in the industry. Irene approaches both her creative projects and daily life with genuine curiosity and a desire to make others smile.
Outside of modeling, Irene is passionate about people and their stories. She is a film enthusiast, spending much of her time watching and studying films, and aspires to produce films, print stories, and commercials. Her other interests include spending time by the water, practicing Pilates and yoga, reading, and writing. She supports youth group programs and arts-based initiatives, driven by her experience as a big sister to three younger brothers.
While Irene humbly downplays her impact, she hopes to inspire and empower Latin American girls who seldom see their skin color and body type represented in mainstream media. Through her work, Irene brings authenticity and joy, continuously learning and growing from every opportunity.
