Zakaria Dau

Zakaria Dau, a 23-year-old South Sudanese model, was born and raised in Uganda. His modeling journey began in 2022 when a local photographer discovered him while he was attending university in Uganda. This serendipitous encounter led him to move to Europe to pursue a career in modeling. Since then, his path has been filled with incredible opportunities and experiences, and he eagerly looks forward to many more.

Zakaria made a significant debut at the Etro SS23 show in Milan and has since walked in numerous prestigious shows, including Rick Owens, Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood, Y/Project, Moncler, and Adidas. Known for his distinctive spiky hair and smooth dark skin, Zakaria's unique look has made him a standout in the fashion industry. His collaborations with renowned brands and designers such as Zara, H&M, Moncler, Rick Owens, Vivienne Westwood, Comme des Garçons, and Fear of God have further solidified his reputation.

In addition to his runway success, Zakaria has been featured in numerous high-profile magazines, including Wall Street Journal, Replica Man, Wonderland, M Le Monde, and AnOther Magazine. These features highlight his versatility and appeal, showcasing him as a prominent figure in the fashion world. Outside of modeling, Zakaria enjoys swimming, playing soccer and basketball, and hiking. These activities help him stay active and balanced, providing a refreshing break from his professional commitments.
